Bloodlines, AV fistula needles and dialysis catheters: an RFQ checklist

A useful quotation request identifies the product and its configuration, not only “dialysis consumables.” Use a separate specification line for each of these three product groups.

Information to provide by product

Blood tubing setMachine model; arterial/venous line configuration; pump segment, chambers and connection requirements; reference drawing or current set reference where available.
AV fistula needleNeedle size and length; fixed or rotating wing requirement; tubing and connector requirements; any required safety configuration. Confirm the offered model rather than assuming every option is available.
Straight double-lumen catheter kitRequired French size and effective length; straight double-lumen configuration; required kit components and packaging. Confirm the exact kit reference.

Complete the commercial and document checklist

  • State the quantity for each reference and the unit used: piece, set or pack.
  • Identify packaging and labeling requirements, destination country and the documents your procurement process requires.
  • Attach a specification or a non-confidential reference drawing where available; mark unknown fields “please confirm.”
  • Ask for confirmation of offered specifications, compatibility, packaging and delivery terms. Do not infer supply scope from a checklist item.

This checklist supports procurement communication and does not select a device for an individual patient or provide clinical-use instructions. Final specifications must be confirmed against the relevant product information.
